I tried, but I'm just too dumb. I'm guessing perhaps the letters of the notes might spell something or maybe the melody comes from somewhere, but I can't read sheet music and I've never heard this song before.
Well the title of the song IS "Still Alive"... I always loved this song, the live version especially. Just pretend it's Mayy's imaginary VA singing, and I think it fits supremely well for what's to come in future chapters.
So to answer your questions: yes, the comic IS coming back, evenually. Gotta wrap up Chapter One of my other comic first, then gets to writing on this one. But I REFUSE to let this comic become abandoned. I absolutely refuse. I don't care if I have to go back and physically redraw every single page in the archive before moving on to new pages. If that's what it takes, then that's what I'll do. (Kinda hope that's NOT the case, but we'll see.)
First of all, thank you for your service to your country. I know that your military activities take priority over nearly all else, including your webcomic(s). There has been obvious concern among our "Zelfia fan club" members" -- a number of which are voters for the comic, by the way -- whether or not either comic is going to return. There have been no postings (or comments by the author) since ... Could you post a brief synopsis soon of what the future may entail? Thanks!
With sadness I write these words. As a webcomic "rule of thumb," a webcomic which does not receive either an update nor author's comment after one year is considered to be on "permanent hiatus." But a webcomic which shows neither after two full years is to be considered as "dead." It was in June 2015 that the creator of Zelfia posted his last remark. It is now July of 2017. So, with heavy hearts, we members of the Zelfia Fan Club "lay to rest" our expectations of continuation and our ongoing votes at Top Web Comics. RIP, Zelfia: you were a joy while you lasted; and we will miss you so much.
